How much does a new water heater cost installed?
Our 40 and 50 gallon gas water heaters are installed for $2,195, and 60 gallon models for $3,295, including standard installation. Venting changes or other extra work are quoted before we start.
Should I choose power vent or chimney vent?
Chimney vent (atmospheric) tanks vent up an existing chimney and need no electricity. Power vent tanks use a fan to vent through the wall with PVC pipe, so they suit homes without a usable chimney, and need an outlet nearby.
What size water heater do I need?
As a guide, 40 gallons suits 2–3 people, 50 gallons 3–4 people and 60 gallons 5–6 people. Big tubs or teenagers may call for the next size up.
I rent my water heater. Can I switch to owning one?
Yes. Rental tanks belong to the rental company, so tell us who your provider is when you book and we'll explain how the return works. Any buyout or removal fees in your rental contract are set by that provider.
