How much does a new furnace cost installed?
Our Lennox furnaces are installed from $4,945 for a 45,000 BTU single-stage ML196 up to $7,145 for a 110,000 BTU two-stage ML296. Prices include standard installation. Extra work, such as venting or gas line changes, is quoted before we start.
What size furnace do I need?
As a rough guide, 45,000 BTU suits homes up to about 1,600 sq ft, 70,000 BTU 1,600–2,200 sq ft, 90,000 BTU 2,200–3,000 sq ft and 110,000 BTU 3,000–3,500 sq ft. Insulation, windows and layout matter too, so we confirm the size from your current furnace and home before installing.
What's the difference between a single-stage and two-stage furnace?
A single-stage furnace always runs at full output. A two-stage furnace runs on a lower stage most of the time and steps up only on the coldest days. That gives quieter operation and more even temperatures, for about $550 more.
What does AFUE mean?
AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency) is the share of gas that becomes heat in your home. A 96% AFUE furnace turns 96 cents of every gas dollar into heat.

What warranty comes with a Lennox furnace?
Lennox ML196 and ML296 furnaces carry a 20-year heat exchanger warranty and 5-year parts warranty, which extends to 10 years when the furnace is registered within 60 days of installation. We register it for you, subject to Lennox's terms.
